thanksgiving feast

This year (and last) I threw in the towel and we ordered our Thanksgiving feast from Mimi's Cafe.
I am tempted to do this every year because it is so easy. All you do is heat it up. My kitchen and dishes were spared, and it was completely stress free. That's what I needed. Oh, and it cost less than if I had gone out and bought everything myself. This meal served 6-8 people.
This is what it came with: a turkey, mashed potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, steamed vegetables with herbed butter, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, a pumpkin pies, whipped cream, and 2 loaves of their carrot raisin bread. If we were getting together with more people, or more family members, we would probably do everything from scratch and everyone would bring a dish, but this is what we have done the last 2 years when it is just us plus a couple of brothers or friends.
A bonus picture from Thanksgiving morning. My soon to be 8 year old daughter loves helping me in the kitchen. A future foodie in the making? I think so! I love how she sticks her tongue out of the gaps where her teeth are missing. . .
